DAY 1: SPLIT – BRAC (MILNA)
Check in at 17:00 pm. Settling in cabins; welcome drink. You will sail a little bit out of Split, to the beautiful little fishing town on island Brač called Milna. On the first day, depends on your wish, your boat will be anchored at Milna Port or in a small bay. Dinner will be served on board. Evening is free for individual activities.
Milna is a beautiful city located in a deep bay of the same name where tranquillity and history is taken in with every breath. Milna was a strategic location for Venetian fleets in the middle ages and Russian fleets in the 19th century. It is also the only island town that was shelled during the 1991 war of independence.
DAY 2 : MILNA – HVAR
Today you will set sail for Island Hvar. You will stop along the way, this time on the Zlatni Rat beach is the world famous and the most beautiful beach in Croatia. Take the opportunity to swim in the crystal-blue waters of Zlatni Rat.
In the afternoon, you can visit Town Hvar. It´s often alluded to as the “Santorini” of Croatia, due to its much-photographed Venetian architecture, offers a mix of culture and a vibrant restaurant and café life. Rich cultural and historic heritage of Hvar, that dates to prehistoric times, unique gastronomy, beautiful beaches and bays, crystal blue sea and hospitality of the local people are guarantees of holidays you will always remember.
If you are looking for a place to party while in Croatia – Hvar is definitely a place to go! After spending evening in the busy town of Hvar you will be ready to fully enjoy peacefulness of night spent in some hidden bay on Pakleni islands.
DAY 3: HVAR – VIS
As it will be usual these days, after breakfast served in surrounding of untouched nature you will sail to your next location – island Vis.
Welcome to the Island of Vis! It was one of the main Greek colonies in the 4th century B.C., but today Vis has stayed relatively under-the-radar with tourists. While the rest of Croatia opened to visitors in the 1960s, Vis remained in use as a Yugoslavian army base until 1991. As a result, the culture and architecture are extremely well preserved.
The coast is characterized by its natural pebble beaches, clean and crystal clear waters and numerous caves. However, the most famous cave, Modra Spilja (Blue Cave), is located on the small island of Bisevo. The nickname Blue Cave comes from the blue hues it acquires when sunlight is reflected in the water inside the cave creating an optical phenomenon.
DAY 4: VIS – KORČULA
This morning you’ll set sail for Korčula. This is the city where, according to legend, Marco Polo was born, although there is no evidence to prove it. The old quarter is small but well preserved and full of life.
Korčula is known for its dense forest, this wooded island was named by ancient Greeks (Korkyra Melaina, meaning black Korkyra). Often considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in Croatia due to it’s medieval towers and walls which surround the whole center of the town. Korčula is a “must go to” place while sailing these areas. Why? Well, that’s because, beside history, cultural and traditional heritage, this place will charm you with its olive groves, small villages, rich vineyards and excellent restaurants! And if you are lucky enough – in the evening you may witness the Moreška dance, traditional sword dance which probably has its origins in Spain and from there came to this part of Mediterranean.
DAY 5: KORČULA – MLJET
Today our private boat takes us across blue waters to national park – Mljet, is the most lushly forested island in the Adriatic. Mljet is well known for its white and red wine, olives and goat’s cheese. It is an unspoiled island covered by a Mediterranean forest. There are few residents, no large towns and only one major road that runs north-south through the pines, oak trees and macchia. The sea around here is rich in fish and marine life.
Mljet is also well known for its two salted lakes – Veliko and Malo Jezero. The historical and geographical highlight of the park is probably right in the middle of the larger lake: the island of St. Mary (Sveta Marija) with a big Benedictine monastery located on top of it. It is now turned into a restaurant but for a long time this monastery was the cultural center of Mljet.
Mljet is so magically beautiful, rich in plant and animal species, far from excessive human influence, it represents a true paradise on earth. North – west part of the island of Mljet is also one of Croatian National Parks. After have lunch on board, we suggest you to visit the park. You can take a walk or rent a bike to explore this mystical island.
DAY 6: MLJET – ŠIPAN
You will leave Mljet after the breakfast and you will explore another piece of paradise – Elafiti islands.
Sipan is the largest island in the Elaphite archipelago. Elaphite archipelago consisting of about 10 islands and isles that spread across the open sea just in northwest of Dubrovnik. This charming Medieval island scattered with palm trees is just 8 miles far from the city of Dubrovnik. In the 15th and 16th centuries many noble families from Dubrovnik built their summer residences on Sipan (pronounced Shee-pan.)
There are two main towns on the island – Sudjuradj – the main port which is connected by road to Sipanska luka, a larger town about 5km away. This road, that goes through beautiful Šipan field, offers a perfect biking or hiking tour.
In between is a verdant valley composed of olive and fig trees, vineyards and citrus groves. Sipan is famous for its wine and for its delightfully laid-back ambiance. The most important historical sights are the fortified church of the Holy Spirit dating from 1577 and the parish church which contains several 15th-century paintings.
You can also visit to ruins of a Roman villa Rustica near Šipanska Luka bay. 34 ruins of churches from medieval times are spread around the island: St Peter’s and St. Ivan’s, at Velji Vrh and Silova Sela, both from 11th century and 14th century St. Mary’s Church, Crkva Svete Marije, part of the St. Michael’s Benedictine monastery complex in Pakljena, near Sudurad.
DAY 7: ŠIPAN – DUBROVNIK
After a brief breakfast, we’ll sail to the stonewalls of Dubrovnik, one of the world’s most beautifully preserved medieval cities. When arriving to Dubrovnik by your private boat, while watching how the sea touches the stone cliffs on which city walls have been build, you can just imagine what hides behind them. Beautifully preserved old city, with its cobblestone streets, stunning buildings, monasteries and fortresses tells the story of a life that passed long time ago.
The city known as “The pearl of the Adriatic”, Dubrovnik, is a great mix of history, sun and sea making it a popular destination. Old Town is also popular as a filming location for the Game of Thrones. Thanks to its location between the towering Dinaric Alps and the Adriatic Sea, the city has an incredible scenery.
Start you day by strolling down the narrow streets, exploring the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture before finish to a fantastic week. In Dubrovnik, there is something for everybody. history is combined with colorful and diverse gastronomy, stunning views, rich cultural and nightlife and a huge choice for sport and adrenalin lovers. So, enter the city gates and start exploring this wonderful town.
UNESCO included the old town of Dubrovnik in the list of World Heritage Sites. One of the main tourist attractions of Dubrovnik is the Stradun (the main street in the Old Town) entirely made of white marble and with beautiful late-Renaissance houses on each side of street. Visit also Fran-ciscan monastery with the oldest Pharmacy in Europe.
