What is the meaning of Blue Flag?
Blue flag is an international environmental award given to beaches, boats, and marina´s by the non-governmental organization FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education).
To be awarded the Blue Flag, beaches and marinas must meet high standards in criteria such as swimming water quality, environmental education, environmental management, and life safety. Beaches must meet 33 criteria and marinas must meet 25 criteria.
