DAY 1 – SATURDAY: DUBROVNIK-ŠIPAN
Check in at 17:00 pm. Settling in cabins; welcome drink. You will sail for Šipan, to the beautiful little fishing town on island Brač called Milna. On the first day, depends on your wish, your boat will be anchored at Milna Port or in a small bay. Dinner will be served on board. Evening is free for individual activities.
Šipan is the largest island in the Elaphite archipelago. Elafiti archipelago consisting of about 10 islands and isles that spread across the open sea just in northwest of Dubrovnik.
This charming Medieval island scattered with palm trees is just 8 miles far from the city of Dubrovnik. In the 15th and 16th centuries many noble families from Dubrovnik built their summer residences on Šipan (pronounced Shee-pan.)
There are two main towns on the island – Sudjuradj – the main port which is connected by road to Sipanska luka, a larger town about 5km away. This road, that goes through beautiful Šipan field, offers a perfect biking or hiking tour.
In between is a verdant valley composed of olive and fig trees, vineyards and citrus groves. Šipan is famous for its wine and for its delightfully laid-back ambiance. The most important historical sights are the fortified church of the Holy Spirit dating from 1577 and the parish church which contains several 15th-century paintings.
You can also visit to ruins of a Roman villa Rustica near Šipanska Luka bay. 34 ruins of churches from medieval times are spread around the island: St Peter’s and St. Ivan’s, at Velji Vrh and Silova Sela, both from 11th century and 14th century St. Mary’s Church, Crkva Svete Marije, part of the St. Michael’s Benedictine monastery complex in Pakljena, near Sudurad.
DAY 2 – SUNDAY: ŠIPAN – KORČULA
This morning you’ll set sail a few hours to reach Korčula Island. This is the city where, according to legend, Marco Polo was born, although there is no evidence to prove it. The old quarter is small but well preserved and full of life.
Korčula is known for its dense forest, this wooded island was named by ancient Greeks (Korkyra Melaina, meaning black Korkyra). Often considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in Croatia due to its medieval towers and walls which surround the whole center of the town. Korčula is a “must go to” place while sailing these areas. Why? Well, that’s because, beside history, cultural and traditional heritage, this place will charm you with its olive groves, small villages, rich vineyards and excellent restaurants! And if you are lucky enough – in the evening you may witness the Moreška dance, traditional sword dance which probably has its origins in Spain and from there came to this part of Mediterranean.
We assure you that, after the evening spent in this beautiful little town, you will for sure keep some special memories in your heart for the rest of your life.
DAY 3 – MONDAY: KORČULA – LASTOVO
After enjoying a relaxing breakfast in this charming island Korčula, you’ll sail to enjoy another unbelievable view of the seas that surround us. A day in untouched nature Island Lastovo.
As one of 46 isles that create Lastovo archipelago, this Island is very popular among seafarers for its pristine nature and tranquility. Lastovo was more than forty years closed for foreign visitors (as a military zone) that`s way It’s practically an untouched island! Lastovo is together with Mljet, known as the greenest island in Adriatic as 70% of the island surface is covered with forests.
It has a beautiful coastline, with rich Mediterranean flora and fauna, pine forests. It has also cliffs with pristine nature and hidden bays, such as Luka. The island is ideal for scuba diving with enchanting underwater life. Also, for aficionados of good cuisine (especially fish and seafood) and exquisite wines such as Marastina, a dry wine with a characteristic taste. Hiking and cycling are the best ways to explore the island as there are many marked trails.
Lastovo is known the clearest night sky in Europe. So here is an idea how to spend your evening tonight. Enjoy romantic star gazing, as the sky filled with so many bright stars you will not experience so often.
Lastovo is a beautiful little village that is located far from the sea, surrounded only with hills. You will feel the true spirit of the Mediterranean with its amphitheatric layout, narrow streets and old houses. We can also visit Hum, the highest peak of the island and from there enjoy magnificent views of the whole archipelago and the open sea.
DAY 4 – TUESDAY: LASTOVO- HVAR
Today you will sail to the sunniest island on the Adriatic – island Hvar. During the day relax in the serene greenery of some beautiful bay on island Šćedro and take a dip in the turquoise sea. Enjoy water sports and have lunch on board surrounded with beautiful nature.
In the afternoon, you can visit Town Hvar. It´s often alluded to as the “Santorini” of Croatia, due to its much-photographed Venetian architecture, offers a mix of culture and a vibrant restaurant and café life. Rich cultural and historic heritage of Hvar, that dates to prehistoric times, unique gastronomy, beautiful beaches and bays, crystal blue sea and hospitality of the local people are guarantees of holidays you will always remember.
If you are looking for a place to party while in Croatia – Hvar is definitely a place to go! After spending evening in the busy town of Hvar you will be ready to fully enjoy peacefulness of night spent in some hidden bay on island Šćedro.
DAY 5 – WEDNESDAY: HVAR- PELJEŠAC
En route to Dubrovnik after a day spent in the busiest town on the Adriatic, you will have a few hours of relaxed sailing before you reach – peninsula Pelješac. —home to Croatia’s best-known red wines: Dingač and Postup.
Moored in some hidden cove, isolated from anything that could disturb your inner peace, you will spend your day on Pelješac, sunbathing and enjoying various water toys available on board.
Pelješac is the second largest peninsula in Croatia, and it is famous to be a wine paradise. It’s a splendid Mediterranean climate, which has made it the ideal site for vineyards and wine making. So, we advise you visit one of the many wineries located on the peninsula.
You can do a day trip to explore Ston – is home to the oldest salt pans of Europe. It is the largest and most famous settlement on the peninsula. Ston has the world’s second longest stonewall (almost 7 km long), just after the Great wall of China. They were constructed in 1333 when Ston belonged to the Republic of Dubrovnik.
Ston is also a perfect place to enjoy the most unique gastronomic experience – raw oysters freshly taken from the sea and served with just a drop of lemon juice. Prepare your taste buds! Restaurants on Pelješac are all well known to serve marvelous seafood.
DAY 6 – THURSDAY: PELJEŠAC – MLJET
Today our private boat takes us across blue waters to national park – Mljet, is the most lushly forested island in the Adriatic.
Mljet is well known for its white and red wine, olives and goat’s cheese. It is an unspoiled island covered by a Mediterranean forest. There are few residents, no large towns and only one major road that runs north-south through the pines, oak trees and macchia. The sea around here is rich in fish and marine life.
Mljet is also well known for its two salted lakes – Veliko and Malo Jezero. The historical and geographical highlight of the park is probably right in the middle of the larger lake: the island of St. Mary (Sveta Marija) with a big Benedictine monastery located on top of it. It is now turned into a restaurant but for a long time this monastery was the cultural center of Mljet.
Mljet is so magically beautiful, rich in plant and animal species, far from excessive human influence, it represents a true paradise on earth.
North – west part of the island of Mljet is also one of Croatian National Parks. After have lunch on board, we suggest you to visit the park. You can take a walk or rent a bike to explore this mystical island.
DAY 8 – SATURDAY: DUBROVNIK
Gather for one final breakfast on board, followed by goodbyes with your crew before they see you off in Split. Your disembarkation is at 9:00 AM.
If you decided to stay in Dubrovnik, we suggest you to visit all of the town attractions or go north and visit Split – the second largest town in Croatia and another Adriatic pearl.
DAY 7 – FRIDAY: MLJET – DUBROVNIK (OR ZATON)
After a brief breakfast, we’ll sail to the stonewalls of Dubrovnik, one of the world’s most beautifully preserved medieval cities. When arriving to Dubrovnik by your private boat, while watching how the sea touches the stone cliffs on which city walls have been build, you can just imagine what hides behind them. Beautifully preserved old city, with its cobblestone streets, stunning buildings, monasteries and fortresses tells the story of a life that passed long time ago.
The city known as “The pearl of the Adriatic”, Dubrovnik, is a great mix of history, sun and sea making it a popular destination. Old Town is also popular as a filming location for the Game of Thrones. Thanks to its location between the towering Dinaric Alps and the Adriatic Sea, the city has an incredible scenery.
Start you day by strolling down the narrow streets, exploring the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture before finish to a fantastic week. In Dubrovnik, there is something for everybody. history is combined with colorful and diverse gastronomy, stunning views, rich cultural and nightlife and a huge choice for sport and adrenalin lovers. So, enter the city gates and start exploring this wonderful town.
UNESCO included the old town of Dubrovnik in the list of World Heritage Sites. One of the main tourist attractions of Dubrovnik is the Stradun (the main street in the Old Town) entirely made of white marble and with beautiful late-Renaissance houses on each side of street. Visit also Fran-ciscan monastery with the oldest Pharmacy in Europe.
